Back Talk???

My Annie isn't too much of a talker .... BUT HAZEL - doesn't seem to stop talking. everything you say to her comes back with an "arguement" from her.

sometimes she gets into her conversation so much... it almost starts to sound like real words (especially when she yawns in the middle of it)

Chelsea sassed me for the first time last night. I told her no because she was biting Angel who was laying on me and she told me off. I just looked at her and told her not to sass me and then started laughing. DH couldn't believe it, he was cracking up. Angel hasn't done it yet, but I'm sure it's just a matter of time.

Thumper isn't much of a talker, but my rottie sure is. It always cracks us up ~ Cathy

chloe is always telling us her opion on things. if you tell her no watch out you will get an earful. if maxi has a toy and she wants that one whe will come and "tell" on maxi i find it halarious my husband , son and i get the bigges kick out of your talker. luckily maxi is quiet or maybe she just cant get a word in. .

Oh yes, Champ has gotten much more vocal lately! He definately talks back anytime we tell him no or if he is doing something he isn't supposed to be doing. He will sit down as slowely as possible while talking the whole time, like he is so dissapointed in US!! And of course I have to laugh at him...which probably makes him more mad!!!

If I tell jada to something she doesn't want to do, like lay down on the couch and leave ppl or samson alone, she does what i say but gives a big ol sigh

If I get stern with Beau, he'll usually go into a pouncing stance and start grumbling at me. If I ignore him for long enough, he'll eventually go off and pout somewhere. He's so rotten!

The only time Charlie Paper "back talks" is when we're working on "roll over". I think he's trying to tell me he can't get all the way over. He'll get half way, then start "talking".

 

[Shakira's Ma]

Shakira has sassed me every since I brought her home from the breeders. It is one of those things that when a baby starts to talk and verbalize itself, it is so adorable and then when they are two and become sassy and throw temper tantrums it isn't quite as cute. When Shakira started it, it was so funny because she would even get a look on her face that seemed like disgust that I would even say NO to her and now she is louder and more then ever verbal. She not only sasses me when I tell her not to do something, she will also place her head in the couch or floor and turns her head sideways so she can see me, and raises her butt in the air so much as saying KISS THIS!! Of course the daycare kids love that and laugh at her so she continues to do it.
