Poor George and poor you - what a time you are having. I hope he recovers from KC quickly and am very pleased his back is okay.
Adelle's idea of getting a friend or family member to care for George is a good one. Another option may be a pet sitter. I have a suspicion that our wonderful Boxers save things like this up for times most likely to stress us way out.
Another option may be to have George as your Best Man, that way he can be at your wedding at least... would there be someone there who can care for him on the day?
Try honey for his cough - it works wonders and is very soothing. I just put some on a tablespoon and let the Boxers lick it off.
