Ellies Home

My husband picked Ellie up from the vet at 4:30, her scheduled time and she was so happy to see him she peed on the floor. (oops lol) They told us that they couldn't find anything, she didn't pass anything through the day so we don't really know what she got into.
The vet said that we could feed Ellie her regular food (Wellness)because she didn't throw up. So we got her food ready and she ate maybe a 1/3 and threw up! I have no idea what is causing this and I don't want her to be right back to where she started again.
I guess I'll just have to be patient and see if she can work through this. Her energy is great again and she doesn't seem to be in pain because she isn't walking around whining but maybe she just isn't 100% yet.
I'll let everyone know how our night goes and how Ellie continues to do.

Thanks for keeping her in your thoughts and prayers.((hugs))

Good luck to Ellie

At least she is behaving normally! She definately seems to be on the road to recovery.

Glad to hear Ellie's home. :D You might want to try a bland diet for one or two days since she's been mostly on IV. The Wellness may be too rich for her senstive system right now. You can boil chicken or hamburger with rice and then gradually mix in her kibble tomorrow or the next day and see how she does. Sending more good thoughts your way and healing vibes to Ellie.

Thanks everyone, boy these little guys can really keep us guessing.
So last night she only threw up when she first came home and nothing more. She continued to have good energy and it was obvious that she was thrilled to be home. She also slept really well in her crate last night which was another good sign because she wasn't. Ellie went from 10:30pm to 6:00am, went out for a potty break, my hubby said she had a solid poop which I was happy to hear. Then she went back in her crate when he went to work and slept until 9:00am.
She started eating when she got up and about five minutes after she was done(she didn't eat everything) she threw up again and just threw up now. I have no idea why we can't get her back on track but I m happy with the small improvements, though truthfully am still worried about her.
She so sweet and we love her to bits and I just want her 100% better again.

Thanks again for all your support and I'll keep you posted. ((HUGS))

1FlashyFan...thank you and I think I'll do that for her lunch!

Maybe it's the food she's eating? Just a thought since she didn't throw up at the vet.

Do you think that the food might affect her almost three weeks after she started eating it? It's the same food Ellie's been eating since we brought her home and this only started a few days ago.
