A very similar thing happened to our puppy when he was about 3 months old or so. Alot of diarrhea for a day or so, and then no poop at all and alot of vomitting, especially after he ate. I was concerned about dehydration and possibly some kind of obstruction. Of course the worst episodes of vomitting happened late on a Sunday afternoon, so we had to utilize the emergency vet (and mortgage our house!!). We took him in and they did x-rays and found nothing major, but, like your story, they did see some stuff in there that looked like small, round objects -- not big enough to cause an obstruction, but a little worrisome. Anyway, he was admitted for IV fluids and monitoring for two days. He finally passed those "small, round objects." It turned out that he had been eating these small, river rocks that we have lining a path in our back yard!! That may or may not have been what made him sick, but he was right as rain after two days (and $2,000) in the hospital!! I'm sure your baby will be fine. Puppies eat everything, so maybe she just got ahold of something she shouldn't have. Even though we keep a very close eye on all of our dogs, somehow the puppy got those rocks, so you never know!

Good luck and keep us posted.
