Baby beaning

Just had to post this. When I met my roomates boxers (first encounter with a boxer) I fell in love with them and all their "traits". When I met them they were about 4 years old so I had never met a baby boxer ...before...a couple of days ago. In the past week I have met 2 baby boxers. I think the cutest thing alive is seeing a baby boxer doing a kidney bean!!!

I know. I love the little flips they do. I would love to have a baby but I try to rescue and pups don't last long in rescue - must be the smooshy face!!!!

My baby has just started doing the kidney bean and it is SO adorable! He also "woo"s at his squeaky toys when squeaking them, almost as if he's trying to mimic the sound.

The most Boxer thing about him, though: how he jumps straight up and down when he gets excited. I can almost make him do it on command :D

I have a 13wk old puppy and almost more funny than the baby beaning is the baby boxer burns in the backyard. That little 17lb midget with her butt down and ears back racing around the yard just cracks me up!!!!!!

Diesel STILL doesn't bean very often! He jumps and bucks and jackhammers, but beans are very few and far between. I wish he'd learn to do it more often, it's so cute!

Any other late-bloomer beaners?

My 5yr old doesn't do it often. When he does do it, it's like it's a surprise to him. Like he has no control over it, his body just bends into that curve and he looks at me like......whoa, what's going on??

Mine does it everytime I get home from work. You could look at him and he'll do it. Hopefully our potential new boxer will have similar crazy traits.

I don't think our little Penny is doing it yet. I always watch for it though. She just jumps up and down a ton when we get home and wags that tiny little talls as hard as she can.
