I'd never even heard of a Babble Ball before reading a thread on here a few nights back then last night one was staring me in the face at my local Sainsbury's. Well, now I'm not sure whether I love it or hate it but Gracie thinks it is the bees knees. She has played constantly with it but is demolishing my flat in the process, I've have to take it away from her and lock it in the bathroom so that I can have a little recovery time!

I am looking into getting one for Zoe and Flash for Christmas. Did you get the talking one or the animal sounds one?

Want to let Bubbie Babble too!

Well, I had to go check about this new toy! Bubbie needs a new toy about as bad as he needs a hole in the head, but anyway it does sound like something he would like! I have decided to get the animal sounds. Now, I just hope I can wait until Christmas to give it to him! I guess then Bubbie will be a Babbleing! foolicon

I've been thinking the same for Dino & Sophie's Christmas - only present I've thought of for anybody so far! I'd like to know which one peoples dogs prefer - or the one least likely to get on my nerves and disappear under the sofa for a few weeks ;)

I've been thinking about it as a X-mas present too. But the only link I was given was for an overseas company. Does anyone have a site that sells them in America. I am so not good at the $ conversions!!!!

www.activek9.com is the best (and cheapest!) place I've found to get the babble balls. I was buying the babble balls pretty regularly since Jesse was destroying them and he loved them so much. The last time I ordered was in August and I got him the animal sounds ball which is wrapped in these tire things. For us it works out better since he can't actually get to the ball itself and he has not broken this one. Also, it's too big to roll under the couch. With the babble ball it never failed, I'd just get settled into my chair to read or watch tv and Jesse would start freaking out since the babble ball went under the couch. DH and I would take turns getting up to retrieve it, lol.

As far as the sounds...well, honestly both of them will drive you nuts!

Chopper goes nuts when his toys roll under the couches. Last night he was barking at toy that was under the couch and he hadn't played with it for weeks. I think he just doesn't like to see me get to relaxed.

Thanks for the tire-wrapped suggestion. I went online and purchased it, so Chopper will thank you as well. However, I don't think the g/f will be too excited....oh well.
