It's shocking to me how in tune these fur kids are with their owners. It's funny too, because it's a special bond Lady has with me, not so much with DH. She'd take me over him any day (but I don't tell him that!)

Lady HATES fighting. She's shakes and mopes around. It's like fighting around little kids, we try not to fight around her.

Anyhow- today I'm fine. Thanks so much for everyones concern. Lady wouldn't let me be sad. Crying is not allowed. The kidney bean always makes me laugh!

Aww Mommy don't cry

My Rock did not tolerate fighting well at all - he would immediately go to his bed and then would get so upset he would start to hyperventilate. Needless to say no fighting or anger was to be permitted. Whenever I was sad, crying, sick or just a little off he was right there face to face with that soulful eyes look that translated to its ok I love u lets wiggle. Ya gotta luv um!!!

Tyra gets upset when I scold thirteen year old Lorena. It doesn't take much to make a thirteen year old girl cry.:rolleyes:

Buy Tyra is always there to lick Lorena's tears away and tries very hard to comfort her. Sometimes Lorena fakes a good cry just for the attention she gets from Tyra.

Clara does the same thing when mommy cries. She doesn't go into another room when hubby and I fight. In fact, she will go up to hubby and start barking at him....it's really funny and actually stops the fight most of the time.. It's like she's saying, "don't fight with mommy!!!" And when hubby and I wrestle, hug or anything, Clara starts barking at him like "leave her alone, she's MINE!"

Jersey just got her first look at me crying last week. She came over looking confused, but wiggling her little bum and trying to give me kisses. I hugged her and let her kiss me - but when she licked a tear she stopped dead to stare at me. Then went crazy licking like i've never seen. She must have tasted the salt or something in my tears and was surprised. Silly girl stayed and comforted her mommy. Nothing like a boxer hug to dry up your tears!

Isn't that the best feeling when they come to console you?

If we're ever having a shouting match, Xena always gets in between and barks at Dave - she doesn't like it when her Daddy has a mad voice.

But she is so connected to him, I'm surprised she doesn't bark at me - she must know we girls have to stick together (and are usually right!)
