He's a special boy to you and to all of us here.
Take a deep breath and relax now, knowing your baby is going to be just fine.
I'm so glad you bit the bullet and got him to the vet when you did.
Yes, we all worry over every little thing, but you just never know.
Give him yet another hug from us and tell him were so proud of him for being so strong.
Give yourself a hug too, he couldn't have done it without you.
As always, keep an extra eye on him and all his parts.
So sorry you had to go thru this, but I think you helped a great many of us.
A reminder for all of us to take the time to examine our babies and question anything out of the ordinary.
You've done a great job asking questions and I want to thank and congratulate YOU.

Great News Chris. I'm so happy that things are looking good for Austin. Like Jill said, just keep an extra eye on him and all his parts (I'm sure you don't have to be told that). I pray he doesn't get anymore tumors.

That's wonderful news!
OOh Chris.....great news..I wasn't expecting the results until tomorrow...how good that they came a day early. I am sooooo glad to hear that they got all that nasty ol scumbag of a tumor!! Austin will be good to go and back to normal in no time flat!! Now as far as it coming back....GK's was three years ago and although he has had surgery twice since then to remove lumps and bumps...NONE of them have been malignant...but we take no chances you know! Our vet at the time simply drilled it into my head that we ever find any growth on him to have it checked out right away and we do but so far he's been good to go! I get him down on the living room floor every Sunday and check him from head to toe and since then have found a cyst, moles and a benign growth (most recently)...but no more cancer...so breathe a great big ol sigh of relief and just keep checking him and he'll be fine and dandy!!

Wonderful news Chris---I have been thinking a lot about you and Austin. I am so glad that everything is ok. Like everyone said--do keep an eye on him and Austin will be fine. You are a wonderful mom.

Thank you all! I'm glad you all feel this is good news so maybe I can relax a little. I'm still so wound up and nauseous over this. I guess since a grade 1 is benign a grade 2 is not so bad. I just want to put this behind us.
I read that I could give him and antioxidant supplement to help ward off these things. I saw a few in Petsmart this morning but didn't know which one to get. Anyone know?
Last but certainly not least, a GREAT BIG THANK YOU to each and every one who replied to me. The outpouring of support and love for Austin was (and still is) incredible. I would have been so lost had it not been for BW. *tears* Austin received an adorable get well card from Jack and Goliath Knowles. It now hangs on my refridgerator!
