Hi All,

3 weeks ago i made a great addition to my family - two beautiful little boxer puppies.
A little girl - Demi and a little boy - Rory. They are absolutely amazing and such great characters i have never experienced anything like it - Boxers really are the comedians of the doggie world.
2 puppies!! How lucky, you are in for some fun times:)

Two pups has been very interesting but twice the fun!!! They are growing up so quickly i wish they could stay little forever.

erindakoda - I'm in Bendigo, victoria i noticed you are in geelong - what doggy activities do you take your boxer too eg. flyball tracking etc? i'm looking at getting these two into tracking.

Welcome to BW. I am a new boxer puppy owner also. How do you keep up with two? Maxwell keeps me so busy I don't know if I would have the energy for that. Can't wait to hear all about your life with two babies.

Hi Maxwells Ma - its funny everyone that knows we have two boxer pups at once think we are crazy and say what on earth possessed you too get two at the same time.
My answer is Naivety!! i didn't realise that two pups at once would be a handful - and to be honest its not any worse or tiring than having one - everything seems to be synchronised with them if that makes any sense eg. Rory sleeps demi sleeps, rory plays, demi plays, they eat together go to the toliet together (maybe thats just me taking them outside every 1/2 hour ;)
They even yawn together - must be contageous in dogs the same as humans.

They keep eachother occupied - which is great for when you need that rest time of your own eg. going shopping or reading a book without them tearing it out of your hands

I have been living by this golden rule - everyone in the household is consistent eg. praising the same behaviour ignoring the same behaviour - and it is working to a degree, they have developed a growling habit at other dogs at doggy school so this is our current challenge.

Its been great and i wouldn't do it different a second time round - the biggest challenge to begin with was getting them to focus on us rather than eachother as they were from the same litter - they relied on eachother not us.
