Another west coast volunteer and I plan to make the trek on Saturday the 28th or Sunday the 29th. We can decide and let you know or if you have a preference.
You will richly bless those homeless boxers and in turn be richly blessed. The couple who own the property foster up to 30 of our up to 50-60 boxers and of course heavily depend on the help of other boxer lovers to get all the daily chores done, nevermind the playing, training, etc of each and every boxer.
I went up last summer with an applicant and had to turn and walk out of the kennels quickly. She had a five year old reverse brindle male that looked a lot like Desi but was marked with scars and very thin. I wanted to take him home in the worst way!!!! Had I not been going home to three of my own and a puppy foster I would have packed him up.
I would really enjoy meeting you and spending the day with new boxer friends and a building full of boxers!

As far as the bash, seems like it could actually be possible. Is it possible to rent out a park or something? I know for birthdays you could do it but maybe we could do something similiar that way it would be only boxers.. since they do tend to play a bit "rough", just imagine them in large numbers :eek:

I will pm anyone interested about joining up to help Florida Boxer Rescue on the last weekend (28th or 29th) of the month. I will check into their need Saturday vs Sunday and give you all an updated list of their desperate needs.
I know blankets, towels, toys, bleach, anything you would use for your own boxers - hw meds, flea applications, etc are used and greatly appreciated.
They go through a lot of food as you can imagine. They try to use Pedigree bagged and canned.

Hi there!
Yes, we are growing in numbers here! Many of the wonderful boxerworld folks were going to meet me at Anita's one day on the upcoming weekend of the 28th and 29th but due to family health problems and foster situations locally, my carpool cannot go.
We could still organize a "fbr/boxerworld work day" at Anita's but I cannot travel there - too much local fbr work to be done.:(
