Attention all Natural Ears!!

About that ear beer! How do you put it in their ears? Drops or on a cotton ball and rub it? I might try that for my Bingo. He has always rubbed his face and ears and at the beginning of the summer had one ear that hung funny for a day and it was red inside for a couple days. I watched it to see if he was bothered by it but it got better by itself. I hate to take him to the vet because I have been unable to find a good one for him and the ones I have found just like to give medicine and they are frequently wrong. Also they would never suggest a natural remedy, which I think are great! So I want to try that for him to see if there is anything in there. In fact, I have a folded puffy comforter on the floor strategically placed so that in the morning when he gets up he runs to it and mushes his face all over it!!! It's his ritual!

I soak part of a washcloth with it when I've used it and then just wipe out his ear with it - I haven't used it often, but he doesn't seem to be having any problems. Not a lot of build up, etc.

This is our first summer with him, and I'll probably have to use it more often...will keep you posted.

Never used it on a dog. When I use it on my skin babies I use it as drops, 2 or 3 to the affected ear, suppose you would use more drops in a dog. Although they may just shake it out.

I just wanted to relate a funny incident with Gidget last eve. My husband and I were out in the yard shelling peas while my youngest skin baby Griffin was playing with a toy truck, he had a rope tied to the front of the truck pulling it through the yard making "truck' noises. Gidget thought this looked like great fun We have a small hill at the back of the house, Griffin would pull the truck down the hill,and Gidget would take the rope in her mouth and pull the truckup the hill This went on for quite some time and we all got a good laugh. She is quite a clown clowicon Thanks for letting me share. Marcia
