My ten month old girl recently had a couple of pieces of the Super Bubble gum I had bought to give out to trick-or-treaters. I had my little brother over on Sunday for dinner and he was feeding it to her!! He thought it was funny the first time. She liked it and would then bark at him for more. I was in the kitchen cooking and then cleaning, but I found out all of this from my sister. I'm not even sure how many pieces she ended up getting, but I'm guessing about 3-5. She woke up around 2:30 this morning and had to go outside. I let her out and when she went along the side of the deck that's muddy, I stepped out to tell her get out of that area. She looked like she was trying to poop, but from what I could tell nothing came out. There was something near where she had been, but it looked like it had been sitting out in the rain for awhile if you know what I mean (it rained all day yesterday here in Missouri and is still misty today). When I woke up this morning I let her out again, this time watching to see what she did. She tried to go again but I didn't really see anything come out. I walked over to where she had been in the yard and (since I haven't scooped recently) there were a few things that looked sorta fresh, or just soggy from the rain. All really small, though. I did just switch her from Purina One to Chicken Soup within the past month so that could account for the very small droppings, if one of the piles was even from today! But has anyone ever had a dog get into some bubble gum and then have problems? I just didn't know if it would block up her stomach and prevent her from pooping or what. Any help would be great!
