First I'm sorry if Iam not on the right thred.I'm new at this. Buckshot is 16 month old male . does it realy mater what age we get another baby ? He is are first . faun w/black mask croped ears & docked tail. he has been a real joy and that woo woo song just tickels us to deth. :D

Our Boxer is 6 but when he was 3 we got a rottweiler pup. They loved each other on sight! They are the best of friends.
I would say that if you are preapred for the work that 2 dogs entails, then there is no reason for you to wait any longer - they will be great playpals for each other.
The only thing to remember is that when the new pup arrives - don't forget to give your older dog lots of attention - he won't want to feel left out while you're playing with your new pup.
