Boxer Pal
We have a great boxer named Riley Ambrose-Singer. His parents are April Ambrose and Ryan Singer. We got him here in Arkansas from a breeder. He has a cropped tail, no cropped ears, and his extra toe thngs clipped too. He is a beautiful fawn boxer with a white neck and a brown dot inside of a white stripe on his head. He also has white socks. We finally chose to get him neutered at 10 months old which is about how old he is right now.

Riley loves to play tug, catch, fetch, frisbee, and play in the water hose. He is very picky about the water and food that he will eat. He will only drink fresh water from the toilet or if he watches you get it from the faucet or hose. He will only eat dry food if it has some wet/raw food mixed in. We feed him Natures Variety Raw food medalions and dry food. We also give him nature's variety raw bones and some liver treats that I can't remember the name of right now.

He is a very good dog. He has learned many commands already and more everyday. Recently he has begun chewing on a windowsill, but we think that is due to boredom as we have a lot of family issues happening right now. We are working to take him on more walks and play in the yard with him more as well.

We absolutely love our boxer buddy and wouldn't trade him for the world!

Hello from Cassies Mum. The only thing that Cassie has ever chewed in our house was the side of a cupboard door in the utility room. We had gone out shopping and hadn't left her any toys to chew on and I think she done it as a kind of protest at being left on her own. She hates being left alone. If we do have to leave her for any time now - we make sure that she has got plenty of toys to keep her amused and her a few treats!

Good luck!

Chewing on windowsill

Yes, Riley will chew on things he knows he's not supposed to if he thinks he's been left alone. That's why we are still crating him when we leave the house.

In the windowsill case we were at home!

We think maybe it was out of frustration. The windowsill is on the only window where he can look outside at the front of the house. He lays under a coffee table there and looks out at hte yard from behind the bushes. I know he thinks he's guarding the house. We have had to discourage this because when he is in teh front yard he will try to chase any joggers/walkers/etc. that happen by on teh street in front of the house. We also know he sees birds as threats and there are birds that live in those bushes. So, it may have been a frustration to see birds and joggers and not be able to get to them. He has plenty of toys all around the house all the time. I go garage saling and bring him some home nearly every weekend.

Does anybody else have any guard dogs that get frustrated and chew?
