I was talking to the breeder of my pups (Boo 6 yr old brindle female & Skye 4 yr old fawn male) and she has a 13 week old white female available--ok yes I've been window shopping. I work out of my house and I'm a little bored. My 2 are pretty much bomb-proof and on a great schedule....but, my girl is starting to slow down and isn't as active as my male, so he's been doing more and more stuff with me solo.

Those of you with 3, is it crazy? Am I nuts? My husband's ok with my decision because I care for the dogs 95%. My only fear is that it'll disrupt my current pups lives negatively. Although my female LOVES puppies and will mother it to death......thoughts?

I don't know, I've heard that it is not good to have two females due to the dominance issues. If the Boxer was a male instead, I would say go for it!

You know, we have been thinking about that. My female is not a fighter--much more the peacemaker. My male is very possessive and my breeder thinks that a female would be less threatening to him. I'm warming to the idea of another female so he won't feel too displaced.

I have 3.
1 male and 2 females and it's a blast! The two girls had issues at first but they worked them out very quickly. (my 3rd was an adult not a pup when I got her)
I'm no expert, but in my experience it has worked out very well with lots of play time together as well as lots of one-on-one time.
good luck
