Are we insane?

My husband thinks I am nuts. If the dogs make it to the couch before I do, or I get up and lose my spot, I will usually go sit in the chair or lay on the floor. Hubby walked into the house the other night, both dogs crashed on the couch, and here I was, curled up on the floor with my blanket and pillow. But hey, they were comfy and I didn't want to disturb them....

My husband also laughs at me because I share my ice cubes from my drink with Koda. It is kind of like our time. He'll curl up with me on the coach, and we'll both eat ice cubes from my drink. Hubby just rolls his eyes especially when he's got a class and moves it to where the ice hits the edges. Koda comes a running. Like okay dad you going to share, mom always does.

Beau absolutely LOVES to destroy anything stuffed. Even though I have to go along behind him and pick up all the pieces, I still let him rip apart stuffed animals and old pillows (they are his favorite). Bailey is a digger by nature (dachshunds were bred for badger hunting) so I let him dig into my covers and even the back of my shirt (he likes to dig where shirt meets sheets---little wierdo). He has destroyed some sheets and a couple of eggcrates, but how am I supposed to tell him that he can't do what his ancestors did? They rule the roost and they know I can't resist those pitiful beggar eyes!

My Mum feeds Georgie ( yeah georgie has HIS granma) she actually cooks entire meals for him, she off course tastes it just to make sure it's not too salty or hot then she drowns it with parmesan ( he won't eat otherwise)
And of course she gives him breafast: toasts w/ butter and jamb.
she says it's too make up for all the abused boxers outhere. I only have one word NUTS but do I stop it nope.

Ahhh its nice to know I'm not alone in this When Boomer won't eat I will also pretend to eat it. Yes he too get kibble with yogurt. He also love loves loves the frosty paws I made him. He has his spot on the couch, even though my parents swore up and down there would be no dogs on the furniture. I take him to the petsmart after the vet. I rush home to see him and sometimes breeze past actual humans to say hi to him first

My mom bought her grandpuppy a "get well" card and gift when he was neutered. She even put it in a decorative (scooby doo) bag and the card had snoopy on the front!
Luka also gets the rolls from the papper towels when they are all gone. My step dad's mom is sick right now, so he is staying with her. I talked to my mom and asked how David was holding up- she said "Well, he's tired, but he's collected two papertowel rolls for Luka" :D

Everytime my boyfriend and I take the dogs (Bailey is just now getting a taste of this one) camping or to the beach we have to stop and get them a cheeseburger. And when we're making dinner when we're camping we always have to cook something for Roxy (Bailey will experience this this summer). My friends think it's rediculous, but a dogs gotta eat!

I make Cassius eggs every Sunday morning!!! I don't know how but he knows when its Sunday!!!

Beasley is so spoiled...and it's pretty obvious that he's my 'only child'.
- In most homes, canisters are for storing flour, sugar, coffee, etc. In my home, there are 3 canisters on top of my refrigerator: one for greenies, one for waggers treats, and one for cow tails. The old spagetti canister is perfect for the cow tails 'cause it's taller.
- He has an outerwear 'arsenal' that enables him to endure varying weather conditions. Required for Indiana living.
- He gets a raw egg in his breakfast kibble every friday to celebrate the upcoming weekend.
- If he won't eat, I take the bowl up and tell him he's gotta wait until the next meal. However, while he's outside going potty I stuff the leftovers into a couple KONGS and add cheese. He thinks it's SPECIAL!
- Of course he has his own spot on the couch. It's actually the WHOLE COUCH. Oh well, as long as he's in the sunny spot, it doesn't matter where I sit.
- Almost every photo in my office is of Beasley.
