anyone with a male/male combo?

We had two males together for 6 years and they always did great. I think it all depends on the timing and temperament of the dogs, but it was a good experience for us. Good luck with whatever you do!

I have 2 males as well!

I have 2 males and I prefer it that way. I'm pretty sure I'll always have males. Nothing against females but I just prefer the males. My oldest boy is so sweet and I didn't want a female to come in and bully him around. My boys get a long great! They are a lot alike in some ways but are different in others. The ages of my boys are Koda, almost 3 yrs and Deuce is almost 6 months.

after reading the post here i am getting that the best time to get a new puppy is when the first one is about 1 1/2 - 2 years of age? we really cant afford another puppy right now so we are going to wait. we also want to wait until maverick is completely trained. bc i couldnt imagine training two boxer at the same time thatnk you guys so much for making me feel so much better about wanting another male.

I have 2 male boxers too. One is 18 months and neutered, the other is 13 months and intact (soon to be neutered). They get along really well. They play together, eat out of the same bowl, sleep together, play tug-of-war, chase each others tails... well one stump and one tail. The older one started showing the younger one the house "rules" as soon as he got home. They are amazing together... no growling, no fighting, both have very gentle personalities, maybe that helps?
