Anyone with a Great Dane?

Along with my boxer baby, I have a great dane, does anyone else have that combination? It seems to be working out well.

I would love to post a picture, but I don't know how...if someone can give me direction, I can do it. As for a picture of them together, Lizzie is smaller than Cody's head, a photo would be difficult at best, but I'll try to catch one of them together, I have lots of just him/her. I look forward to replies!

I'd love to see your Danes pics as well :D.... I've always loved Danes ever since I was a wee lil girl and when I was at the dog show here I spent my time between the boxers <who i was with most of teh time> and the Danes... however I dont think I would own one unless I was living somewhere with a lot of space for the dog to run... maybe one day I'll get to live that dream of owning a boxer and a dane

I LOVE Great Danes! How old is yours? I talked seriously to my husband about getting one in addition to have Nikki, but he's afraid of the heartache that comes with the Dane's short lifespan. As it is, he & I are extremely attached to our Boxer. I think we may not be emotionally ready for a Dane (yet). I have many books on them though. I guess I could keep myself busy learning more. If/When we make the decision to get one, we'll be more emotionally prepared.
