I have a Petsmart catalogue and in it they sell "grass saver" in tablet or liquid form. It's supposed to nuetralize urine somehow so that the grass doesn't burn. I have a huge yellow burned grass section in front of my house from my two dogs and wondered if this would work but I'm too afraid to give my babies some weird chemical. I was just wondering if anyone else has heard of it or its effects or uses it. Thanks, Karen

I don't think they are really a good idea as what they do is change the acidiity of the urine. You would be better off teching your dogs to go in an out of the way spot where it's not so obvious. :)

put some tomato juice in their food...i heard that works...also but chiprock(drywall) down on the grass, helps bring it back. LOL I take rocky under my deck (it's 2 stories high) so i don't care if the grass gets ruined there.

Tomato juice...interesting. I never heard of that. I have started on yogurt for gas (I blended it in a blender with water and a banana and froze it) and I made some of the satin balls recipe for help with gaining weight (they love it but the raw meat still kind of grosses me out) and now tomato juice for stopping burning of grass! It's amazing how many natural things are out there. I would prefer not to give them any kind of weird tablets. Thanks for the advice!
