Anyone on the North Side of Chicago?

We are having a hard time finding other dogs that play the same as hobbes. He is nine months now (the picture is way out of date) and is as playful and energetic as could be but most of the dogs in our neighborhood are smaller dogs that want to play with him but just cant keep up. I know you know what i mean =). Let me know if anyone wants to set something up. Specifically we live on the outskirts of Logan Square, Diversey and Western.

We live just north of the city and would love to have other boxers to play with. Our Lucky is 5 1/2 months and is caught between the little dogs and larger dogs when playing.

Our hobbes just got neutered today so it will be a week or so before he can play. Hes sooo pathetic, absolutely PASSED out on the couch. We havent really been to any dog parks yet however When the time comes maybe we could all meet at montrose beach, or if you know of someplace better we could meet there. What do you think?

Lucky gets neutered next Friday so it will be a little before she can go to the parks/beaches as well. We go to the doggie beach in Evanston -- it is great! There is a lot of room and is clean. We also go to the dog park in Evanston. Both are places where she can run and play...and tire herself out a little. Hope Hobbes is feeling well!

We are up at the GreatLakes naval station and take Brinkley to the dog park in Libertyville all the time. If anyone wants to play there let us know.

We might be able to play then -- it will be a week after her spaying (I said neutered earlier in error). Not sure if she will be up for playing and getting so excited yet. We would love to meet up with other little boxer pups though. I'd suggest Evanston beach, but you need a pass to get in. Keep posting to let us know about May 22.

I work in Evanston. (Northwestern) I could probably get a pass if that was better. We can also wait a few weeks or meet up during the week some night.

Let's keep in touch, I think Lucky and Chula might be good to play together. They're fairly close in age at least.

We go to the Evanston beach a lot. We were there last night. If the weather is good, we'll probably be there tonight as well. Do you ever go to the beach? Lucky is just starting to go in the water and it is so fun. Lucky is getting spayed on Friday so after Thursday, we won't be there for awhile.

Where exactly is the Evanston Dog Beach & Park?

I am also on Chicago's northside (West Andersonville/Ravenswood). I'm pretty familiar with the dog park at Lawrence and Marine Drive and Montrose Beach which are both very close to my area. Where is the Evanston Dog Park and Beach?

I'm very familiar with Evanston, just let me know the area to look for.

Perhaps we can meet up sometime.

My baby is a 1 year old female, Roxy. She is nuclear powered it seems and doesn't care to rest when around other dogs or let off her leash, but boy does she sleep really soundly after a day at the park.
