Hi Dallas Boxers,
First time post. My wife and I have two gorgeous kids. "Caesar" 1 year old fawn/white Male and "Brittney", 3 month old, Female reverse black/brindle. We would love to know when/where the next "Boxer Bash" is?? Also if anyone is interested in letting their Dogs play, we can meet somewhere - provided its gated.

Nice to meet all, and remember, "Boxers Rule"!!!!

You guys are in luck this weekend! We are having our monthly DFW boxer bash in Plano at Connemara Off Leash Dog Park in Plano/Allen. The bash starts at 6 pm and the whole family is invited. There are about 100 acres to play on. Last month, we had 20 boxers in attendance and it looks like we will come close to that this month. Saturday evening at 6 pm.

Connemara's Directions

N. on 75 Central Expwy
In Allen, take the Mcdermott exit and go left under the bridge for about 1-1.5 miles
Turn left on Alma
The road will narrow to 2 lanes, when it widens back, look for Tatum St. on your left.
Tatum is a gravel rd for about 200 yds until you get to the entrance to the park.

There are no restroom or water facilities, but shops are 5 minutes away. Bring water, bug repellant, and whatever you think you might need. Hope to see you there. bye

no e-mails ..

AHHHH I thought you guys were totally not posting here these last few weeks!

So I haven't been here! I haven't been getting emails from BW telling me a message has been posted ... wonder why :(

Anyhow, I think the earlier time is great also ... we get to see everyone in daylight longer than an hour :)

I can't wait to see new and old faces better :)

See you guys tomorrow!

Just found out tonight from Vasha about the Bash. With hubby out of town I may swing by but only bring 1 of the three (or maybe one of the two foster boxer babies). Hope to see you all there ;)

Prue had a great time running tonight... big change over her first night. She was fast a sleep on the way home. She ate her supper and went back to sleep. She only became owly with one dog this evening and he was bigger than her!!!

It was Jazz's first time when she had enough she started to head back for the car. I really had to coax her back over to where Prue nad Grant were.
She wasn't quite sure about it all and foamed at the mouth most of the evening. She wants to play now while Prue wants to sleep.

My Son, Grant (16) came to help and enjoyed seeing all the different boxers.
He had never seen a white boxer so enjoyed meeting Zeus. There was a smaller male brindle with a black mask he also liked. He kept coming over to Prue to play and they looked alike in color. I did not know his name.

It was a bit scary when the Australian shephard dogs came and tried to pick fights.
It was great seeing all the dogs
