Welcome back Forneyites! I'm glad Bailey is liking her new home. We moved to Red Oak and Rowdy has an acre to roam on also. We are about 90 minutes from Allen now, but if I see enough interest on here, I may drag Rowdy and the boys to the park. Rowdy doesn't get to play with as many friends down here in the country.

Hello. I am a new member to Boxerworld. My name is Joe and my 16wk puppy's name is Angel. I was wondering if any members still meet out at Connemera Park in Allen. I have gone out there several times in the last couple weeks and my dogs have enjoyed it termendously. Have yet to come accross any other boxers though. There are always several other dogs there though. Its been since nice weather here for Dec and Jan. It is truely Dog heaven it seems. Hopefully I can meet up with other boxers out there one day.

People used to meet there the last Saturday of every month. Lately it seems hard to get anyone to agree on a time or date. It's not worth the long drive for me (1 1/2 hours) unless the weather is good, and other boxers are going to be there. I know several people live close to the park (Connemara) and go there often. :)

Thanks for responding Faughtey. Are any of the people you know that go there often members of Boxerworld by any chance? I here you about the 1.5 hr drive, Im only about 20 mins. from there and that sometimes seems long if there aint no boxers there. I have never seen one, but Ive only gone about twice a week for the last 4 weeks. Iys too cold now but was real nice through Dec. I will go there any time, any day to meet with other boxers so my 4 month old could play with one as well as myself.

There are quite a few BW members who gather there with our furkids.

Seems to me that usually in the winter months, the bashes are suspended until the weather is better (or warmer). Although some may still go, the bash itself doesn't happen.

Hope to see you out there when they resume tho....

Hey guys! I'm just bumping this. The weather has been GORGEOUS recently and I know that we have babies that are raring to play.

Although I won't be able to bring Kaiser out to play, I'd sure love to get together with you guys soon!

i go every sunday at plano dog park... Snatch really enjoys it!

i hope he soon will be over with his cough so he can go back playing with his buddies!
