We only had 7 boxers. Nobody stayed very long because it was cold and damp. Most of the dogs had fun. Rowdy played alot with the Dobes and Great Danes.
So when is the next boxer bash?? Our 8 month old, Sugar, would love to play with some other boxers..... anybody have an idea for a good weekend??? Jason...(arlington)
I'll go to Arlington, but it's hard to beat 100 off leash acres like they have in Allen. Try Allen once and then decide if it is too far. We usually meet on the last Sat. of each month.
I have been to a couple bashes, and they are worth the drive. I live in Alvarado which is 30 miles south of Ft. Worth. It takes around 1 1/2 hours to get there for me. Maybe some of us could carpool or caravan together for the drive over. I don't go unless the weather is nice because it's too far to drive for 30 minutes of fun. I like to stay at least an hour. And the park is easy to find!
We are expecting our first baby in June and we have 2 boxers, one is 1yr 4months the other almost a year and we really need to get some training for them before the baby comes. Does anyone know of a really good trainer that we can trust with our lovely babies?? We live in Coppell. Also, I know the bashes are the last Sat of the month but what time do they start??
Well, I am having LASIK surgery on Friday, but will be in the area, so if I feel up to it, we may stop by. We won't have the dogs with us, but if I am feeling ok, we will stop by. If we don't get to, have fun everyone!
Ok, I know that we have one this coming Saturday, and I know it is our FIRST ANNUAL Boxer Bash since we all started to come, BUT I am not sure we'll be able to make it :( ... our girls first soccer game of the season is that Saturday one is at 11:30 and the other is 12:45 .. they usually last an hour, THEN right after that, hubby and I are going to dinner with his boss AKA the owner of the WHOLE company(they usually do this in September, and since 911 they have canceled all gatherings - so they made it for February and just a handful - so those out of state don't have to fly in) so anyway that is in Dallas at 5PM .. and it is formal wear ... we will surly try to come .. what time is good for everyone??
