I tried my best. I hope you guys had a good time.

yeah taconic to 134...see all the directions were different, and the ones I got by putting my zip code (10541) in on the website just said this

Turn RIGHT onto NY-9A/BRIARCLIFF PEEKSKILL PKWY
Take the CEDAR LANE ramp
Turn LEFT onto CEDAR LN.

The complete lack of street names and the fact that 134 splits off so many times as does 9A got a little rediculous when I tried to backtrack and find my way. I ended up way north and south twice. Maybe I am just an idiot. It seemed really easy when I looked at the directions then got confusing when I tried to actually do it. When I take 134 and I hit that traffic light for 9A I stay on 134 that goes thougth the light and right? Anyway I am real sorry I didn't get there.

no I didn't get a chance yesterday to go back over. I have an idea about what happened but I am not real sure. Did things go well though? good thing we had the nicer day between this and last weekend.

Careful traveling today everyone!

We had a nice time. Another boxer, Rex (not from BW) was there, too. Watching Daisy and Mickey box was really funny - I got a big kick out of it. The weather was really nice Saturday - we were lucky.

I hope the weather improves a little bit next week - I took off from work the week after Christmas. Let me know when you find the place and we can try again. I feel bad that you were driving around so long. Can you get to route 9? When I went the first time I came down from rte 6 in Cortlandt and I made a right turn on Cedar Lane off of rte 9.

I will find it I am determined :) ...I ended up on Rt 9 driving around when I was lost lol. It might be worth trynig it that way but it will take longer. The park website should not have given me wrong directions either! I didn't mind driving around and I would drove around until I found you guys but when jasmine started getting sick from u turns and stuff I figured it was best to call it a day. I am glad you guys had a good time though.

Actually Mike,

In reading your email where you said that you went past the light at 9A
and across, you went too far.

If you came off the Taconic at Rt 134 West (which I beleive is the right exit)
you make the immediate right. And then follow the directions I PM'd you last week. (you know the part about not taking Illington, but the other one :))

Good luck for next time.

see when I get off the taconic I am automatically going west on 134 and didn't any slight right, forks or anything so I went straight. I will find it when I have a chance to get back out there. I didn't say your directions were wrong I just said I couldn't find the place. I never claimed to be intelligent enough to follow directions, drive, and keep an eye on the puppy in the backseat by myself :) . I appologize if it seemed like I was blaming you for my getting lost, I in no way decline sole responsibility for my missing the play day.

I don't think anyone is blaming anyone - it's a really hard park to find! The first time I found it I actually gave up because I couldn't find the dog area!! All I saw was a kids soccer game. Nicole was nice enough to PM me and let me know to keep looking - it's actually around the little lake.

Maybe we can try again soon.

I was just asking so many questions cause I was second guessing my own directions after I saw that you got lost. Trust me, it is hard to find.
We had a hard time trying to find it the first time too and gave up after a half hour :)

You'll find it. I love it cause it gives Mick a chance to get that puppy energy out.
