Hi, I live in Burlington and would love to get together... I have two boxers, one is 1.5 years old and the other is 3.
There is one really good leash free park in Oakville on Neyagawa, just north of Dundas Street.

Hi there, Local people! We would love to bring our 9 1/2 month old boy Chuvalo out to play! Went to a local dog park once, and Chuvalo came away bleeding! Been very hesitant to go again... Is the park at Neagawa safer?

There are two parks where I take my boys either the one on King Street in Burlington or the Neyagawa. I prefer the Neyagawa because it doesn't get as busy and the owners seem to pay attention to their dogs. I try to go early in the morning, during the day if I don't have to work or later on in the evening when it's not very busy. Chevy will get along with pretty much any dog and will back down to any dog but Louie is more dominant so I'm more carefull with him. I actually prefer to just meet with people around my neighbourhood and just let them play in our backyard or in the park. This way we know our dogs get along and we don't have to worry about them getting hurt.
Since boxers tend to play a bit rougher they may get some scratches but as long as it doesn't get aggressive I'm happy.

Where abouts do you live... I'm also in Burlington (Quelph Line and Upper Middle Road). My boys would love to have a play date.

Hi, I'm in Mississauga and we are always keen to meet new boxers.. Cassius is 3.5yrs and does love to play. He has a girlfriend boxer that just lives around the corner from us. She is hyper and he is pretty layed back..but when they run together it is pure boxer love.
