Hey guys, I am jumping in on your conversation. I live in Richmond Virginia and I think it would be lots of fun to get together and let our dogs play Don't know if anyone lives nearby, but I think an hours drive would be okay.

Does anyone know how I can find out where the closest dog park is??

There is one in Richmond, this is what it says

Open daylight hours. Fenced, poopbags, trees, parking, water. Comments= There are separate areas for puppies or aggressive dogs. There is also a water pump nearby that is in operation in the summer months.

We are about an hour from Richmond!

Barker field in Richmond

Hey-- Just jumping in on this thread. My brindle baby and I are regulars at Barker field. It is a large enclosed area--with three separated "lots"--one for small puppies or shy dogs--the large "free-for-all" center area and an other smaller area for agressive or misbehaving dogs. The RDOG group has paid to have a water connection--so there is fresh,cool water available there too.

If anyone is interested in meeting up there or has more ? Let me know.
