Anyone have any good ideas for Thanksgiving Recipies for their Boxers?

Rocky and Jing get basically what we get with a few twists. The bread I use for stuffing I put in their bowls (I don't give them actual stuffing as it has onions in it). Then in a large pot I boil some chicken (Rocky is allergic to turkey), carrots, celery, sweet potato, green beans, and garlic. After it cools down, everything goes in their bowls mixed with a little broth. Then I put a dollop of pumpkin on top. :)

B4 we got our "allergy boy" Scooby, we would fix a plate for each of our 3 dogs, giving them a spoon of everything we had. Pickles and jello were about the only 2 items that weren't eaten. Funny to watch them eat around stuff. Baker (waiting at the Bridge) would pick up cooked baby carrots and then spit them out onto the floor - looked just a little kid that got something they didn't like.....bleck, bleck, bleck. I think we even got that move on video.

We bought these awesome treats called luv'a bones that have a whole turkey dinner in them! turkey, carrots, sweet potatoes, squash, and even cranberries! If you don't want to give a whole turkey meal. They are at healthpronutrition.com. I notice they are made in the US, so you should be able to find them somewhere.

We already had Thanksgiving in October, and Willis got a few small pieces of turkey (don't tell Kris ;) ) and the innards that no one wanted (he had to fight my dad for them! ). He also got all the leftover green beans. I think he's been dreaming about the turkey ever since!

PS. I just opened the bag of treats, and when Willis smelled them, he started to bark at me! He never barks... that's how good they are!!!

In Oklahoma, where every recipe starts with a cup of grease and ends in a generous dollop of Miracle Whip ( :) ), we deep fry our boxers for Thanksgiving!! :) Stuffing on the side.
