I am not sure if it is that Aspen is picky but she takes FOREVER to eat her food. My husband likes to refer to it as " eating by driveby". She walks around and around our kitchen island grabbing a mouthful of food each pass. Mason is the typical vaccuum, he'll eat anything, anytime, anywhere.

Blizzy wasn't so much picky as she was..NOT food motivated  She only ate if she were hungry never because it was there.

Carson will eat anything (dust, dirt, paper, crumbs, wood, etc) including food that doesn't eat him first. Echo, well SHE is another story. She has decided to NOT eat. I have hand fed her to coax her to eat..she eats some but expects I don't know what..she loved her food (although a very slow and lady like eater) but I have noticed that since I ran out of yogurt (and have forgotten to pick it up ohh about 100 times since) she does not want to eat. But she did eat when I put cheese in w/the food..but she picked out the cheese and left the kibble...grrrrrrr

Chancey just tried that with me this weekend...the same yogurt and cheese tricks too. I picked up her dish after 30 min and put it away. Yesterday she didn't get morning food and it was 5pm before dinner was offered...guess what she ate without cheese or yogurt!..same this morning but only after she saw me leave the room without adding treats....of course your little one can't go that long without food but you may want to try picking it up for a few minutes

Roxie is very picky. She will go to her food and move it around with her nose and then walk away. She only likes to eat at certains times but that seems to change everyday haha. I love her to death but I just call her a typical girl. Though I love her to death!!!

I HAVE! And she still doesn't care! And yes, she can't go that long w/out food. I do give her the opportunity to eat, leave it on the plate for a bit 15 minutes and she won't even go near it. I tried to get her to eat at 6:30am..nothing..took the plate up and just a few minutes ago I tried again..I even tried the hand feed her a kibble or two just a few minutes ago..she spits it out! Brat. Hopefully its a finicky thing and not that she's feeling ill :( Hubby is getting the yogurt. I cannot stand the smelly farts that they've had since having no yougurt..

We have one of each! Sophie eats as though she is never going to see food again, we joke that her body is a life support system for her stomach! Dino on the other hand never eats anything unless it is closely examined and it takes him forever and ever to eat his dinner. We hoped that he might speed up a bit after watching Sophie in action but no.

We also have one of each. Em will eat anything and everything. I don't even think he is aware of what he just swallowed. Wil on the other hand will take the treat from you...walk over to the neaest corner and drop it. She smells, plays and licks it for awhile and then sometimes she will eat it. If not, eventually Em finds it and turns on his Hooover snout! Gone is seconds!

My princess is a VERY picky eater. I call her 'anorexic dog' half the time! Even if I offer her a treat out of my hand, she has to sniff and inspect it every time, even if I keep giving her the same thing! Countless times she has left her food for an entire day, or will eat later in the day when we are not home... Very bizarre girl, but as long as she eats AT SOME POINT, I am happy. She used to stress me out but now I know all her tricks. Sometimes it takes an "appetizer" to get her appetitie going; a small treat or a piece of our food, and then she will eat her own dinner. Silly thing.

Donna, Millie was like that as a baby, I tried hand feeding her, but no way, the little madam still turned up her nose, even with her beloved cooked chicken...so knowing her love of my old mans bald head, (lick, lick, lick, like a giant lollipop!) ..I decided that he had to be the answer...Yeah, youve guessed it, I made him lie down, and put the chicken on his bonce, and whay hey!! it did the trick, SHE ATE!...mind you, it took me about three months to 'wean' her off his head and into a bowl!
