I'm from Heathrow! (Just kidding, sort of). Actually I'm Canadian but because my parents were born in England, I've got dual citizenship. However, although I'm a British citizen I've never set foot in the UK, unless you count changing planes at the airport. So I guess Heathrow is where I'm from in the UK!

Our Ana also hates that "last call" to pee. It's a real chore to get her up, do the boxer stretch, and then get moving toward the door.

Jo, you should find this site very informative. I don't know how I would have got through the last few weeks with Tess's pregnancy/whelping and now weaning, without some wonderful advice off boxerworld people. It's great!

Jo, I know the feeling well. At this moment the pups are just eating their breakfast after pestering Tess for milk all night. The poor dog is being run ragged by them and so are we. I have to go back to work today after 2 weeks off and hope they don't whinge all day. I will have to pop home at lunch time to feed them and I finish at 2.30pm so it shouldn't be too bad!!!!!!! Who said breeding was easy. Must have been a man. : rolleyes:

Hi everyone, I'm up here in Yorkshire and so jealous hearing about all these georgeous puppies. I know its along time ago but in the sixties my parents bought a boxer on breeding terms. They simply could not afford her full price at the time. I was only eight at the time and for me it was a dream come true. I can remember the fun of having so many puppies to play with. I can remember helping with extra feeding( ie bottles), but I can also remember my mum tearing her hair out when they all were weaning and crying constantly for food.
One other thing was , that out of the six male pups , two were white. The breeder who sold her to us and had 1st and 3rd choice of the pups, immediately said ,put the white pups to sleep. I'm so glad we have come along way from this bias now. Needless to say , even then my parents refused to do this , and Major and Jason lived long and happy lives.
Ali, Your threads on your pups bring back so many happy memories from these times. I wish them long and happy lives.

Sue and Jo, thanks for that. My 1st day at work wasn't too bad but I missed the pups like mad. I have 2 more to sell and one man rang tonight to ask if he could have the tail removed when he buys him... Needless to say I said he wasn't having one atall!! It's a major operation to have it done when they're not newborn. I do think there will be a few tears shed here in 4 weeks time!

tail docking

hi muttersley, do you mind if i call you Ali? (i'm just lazy it's easier to type that's all) good on you for saying no to the man who wanted the tail docked so late, the breeder who i got chance off made a right mess of his tail and it keeps bleeding because it has been docked to close to the bone the vet thinks that he will probably have to have more shaved off the bone as he grows. So as you can imagine i,m not very happy!!.
