anybody have a problem with there boxer drinking to much water and blowing chow

Hi all, was just wondering if anybody has had a problem with their boxer drinking to much water and blowing chow? Booie has done this for about 5 or 6 times in the last week. And just did it again all over the living room. He is 8 months old, We have had him for 3 weeks now and it started about a week ago.

Slow down on the water

Chase did that alot as a pup. He would drink his water to fast and eat, then a few minutes later it was on the floor. We had to watch him as he drank water and gave him a little bit of water at a time while he ate; after awhile he just started to pace himself. Some stores offer special food and water bowls designed to help slow your dogs fast paced eating habits (like gulping food down) or drinking alot of water at a time

agreed about the food bowls. you also might try watering down the food a bit and making sure that when he is done eating that he doesn't run around like a maniac (or a boxer) for awhile
