Any snorters out there?

Does anyone else's pup make snorting noises? Luke doesn't but Leia lets out a small snort (kinda like snoring type noise) every now and again. It sounds almost like a human who has a really stuffed up nose

I don't remember Apollo doing it, although Rocky currently does(coming up on 16 weeks). I have noticed that it isn't as bad as it was though. I'm not sure, but it's like he forgets the correct breathing procedure sometimes, or maybe he just isn't completely used to those great olfactory cells!

Hurricane does it too, all the time. I just assumed it was a boxer thing, it never seems that he is in any distress when he does it. Sounds like a horse is in my house sometimes :-D

Boxers are notorious for this. The short upturned muzzel and large tongue predisposes them to snorting and snoring , especially when sleeping. There are also thoughts that because of their short muzzels and predisposition to airway sensitivity that they are prone to hay fever type episodes. I don't know if it's true but every boxer I have been around does this at least a little. It almost seems that they can do it to emphasize their feeliongs.

yeah I think your right. I think it is just a boxer thingy.
I wasn't too worried about it, just curious to know who else did that.

Cassius also does this!! Snores all the time, and snorts lots when he is sniffing

Rocky is definately a snorter which usually turns into a great big sneeze when he is upside down. Oh yeah and it's usually right in the your face too!
