LuvMyPuppy
Super Boxer
Charlie is 9 weeks old, and needs a friend to play with. Now, I know he isn't supposed to have contact with dogs that aren't current with their vaccinations, so I am hoping anyone who responds will keep that in mind for the sake of my puppy.
I think he needs more interaction with dogs than he is getting with training class once every other week. I'd like for him to get some more dog-dog socialization so can learn some more socialization skills & get some fun energy out, it seems nothing I can do will match the play time he has with his siblings who are in AL or his boston terrier friend that is 2 hours away...
We can't go to a dog park yet, too many other dogs & germs, but maybe we can meet at a dog friendly area that is a little safer for puppies.
He has had 2 sets of shots already, he is allergic to fleas but he is on revolution so that pretty much takes care of it. He is on meds still for his allergic reactions...but he is fine to play.
His training classes don't start for 2 more weeks but he already understand Sit & Down. (we are working on Come but its a tough one sometimes).
If I can't find anyone that has the patients for a puppy his age, I might take him to doggy daycare just to get the interaction he needs (but that scares me even if the dogs are supposed to show proof of vaccination, it just seems like a lot of dogs).
If there is another boxer puppy his age around town that would be great too.

. Anyway, I will ask around and see if there are any good places to meet in fullerton or brea. I could also come down there if you know of a safe place to play. I go farther than lake forest just to go to the dentist.
