I'm so glad Pearl doesn't do this in the house. I think there is just not enough room for it. Thankfully she reserves this for outside and that girl can GO! It sounds like horses hooves as hard as her feet hit the ground. She comes in with grass stains on her hocks and is very satisfied with herself. It is the cutest thing when her bum tucks under, almost like her back end is moving faster than her front.

Ah the Boxer burn...I love it. Pent up energy or just expressing, in the only way they can, how terrific life is. As a young pup - it did seem to be associate with the "witching hour" - that evening crazy time when my husband would call Charlie "Kujo" but now it seems to follow a fun activity.

We went hiking on Sat. and Charlie was thrilled that he got all of his favorite things in one (other dogs, people, and open space). When we got home - my husband and I were beat and were popping a squat outside while Charlie ran the "burn" track in the backyard!

My favorite!

I think my favorite part about the boxer burn is the tucking of the butt and pinning back of the ears!! It is just priceless!!! We love when Roxy does it!

Millie does them under furniture, on the furniture, and outside. She has more room outside so she is unstoppable. She also does somersaults in the grass too. It is the funniest thing!

Around our house it's called the Tzu Races. They will dash into the kitchen, back into the living room, around the chair, into the office, back into the living room and then start the whole process over again. We just take bets and see who comes in 1st. LOL!

HAHAHAHAHA....I can picture everyone's boxer doing that!! Bing races around the living room like a bat outta hell....while Angel is lounging on the couch with that "what is HE doing?!?!?" look on her face!! Hahahahaha...they are such comical dogs!!
