THere are a few people who had planned on the 11am thing, but we won't be there til 2. I am hoping this to last a while so people who drive all the way out arent disappointed to be in OKC for 35 minutes. If you show up at 11, there will be a few people, if you show up at 2, I am sure it will be a bit more happening. Since they don't allow food in the park, I ask that everyone eats before coming out there.

Unfortunately, we won't be able to make it. Powder pulled a muscle in her shoulder and is limping pretty bad. :(
The vet said to have her take it easy for the next few weeks and it should heal quickly. So no bash for the gimpy little girl. To bad too. We were so looking forward to a get together.

Thanks to all!
Thanks to those that made it out to our bash. THere were only about four or five to show up and all at different times it seemed. We stayed from about 1130 until about 315. Needless to say, Sketch is WORN OUT! He is sleeping happily and had a wonderful time. We are going to check out the park in Yukon to see how it is, and maybe we will schedule another trip in the fall or something. The heat was pretty high today. If the Yukon dog park is any better than the OKC park, we will definitely work on setting it up for that location. Hope to see you guys more often! I am almost always available on saturdays and sundays if anyone in the area just wants a little boxer get together. Just PM us, and let us know. Dan, thanks for the help you showed me with the walking bit and the come/recall commands. We are going to get to work on those right away.

Del City Dog Park
There is a small group of us who are going to build a dog park in Del City.
We have the site: North of Reno on Sunnylane in some unused softball fields. The city of Del City is giving us some seed money for updates and the site itself.
We need is a core of volunteers for establishing the park, maintenance, picking up poo and monitoring the park (enforcing rules). If you or any friends want to get in on the ground floor, PM me with your email and I will add you to the group. So far we only have about 6-7 people. It will take much more to make this project fly.
