Any help locating a healthy Boxer Pup In Upsate NY

My husband and I had to put our 7 yr old boxer to sleep about 3 months ago. It was the hardest thing we ever had to do and we still miss Rudy so much. We would really like to get another boxer, but think a puppy would be best. We have another dog at home.... Oscar is the sweetest little 6yr old boston terrier that misses Rudy terribly. Oscar can be very territorial since Rudy's gone and probably wouldn't do well with full grown dog coming in to his house.. If anyone has any contacts or ideas it would be greatly appreciated...

I am very sorry to hear about your loss.

Have you tired Northeastern Boxer Rescue? Their website is www.boxerrescue.com. I think most of the time they have older dogs, but every now and then there is a puppy. Good luck!

There is a boxer pup in savannah, ga (I know it is a long way, but you may be able to coordinate transport through boxer CUR or rescues....) and I may be bringing four boxer mix pups up to Carlisle, PA. I am waiting to see if the rescue in Ohio is allowed to take them.

I dont know if you are looking for a mix or purebred, but boxertown.com has the pictures of both the savannah puppy and the boxer mix puppies.

There are two Boxer Rescue groups that are located near Syracuse. There are sometimes puppies or young rescue on there that are in need of a family. I know the Boxer Angels Rescue has a couple puppies right now that have mange, but thats treatable!!

Please consider a rescue, they have so much to offer
