I'm looking for a nice little gravy mixure that I can add to Jada's dry kibble, any suggestion on some homemade creations? I've actually been adding some beef or chicken broth to her kibble and she loves it, but I want something a little more thicker and more nutrients.

you could boil some veggie peels in the chicken broth, so that it can absorb their flavor and nutrients, maybe a little garlic too. then strain it and wisk it cornstarch or flour until it is thick enough for you...hope this helps...

Thanks ricos_mama,

I love the idea, "boiling some veggie peels in the chicken broth, so that it can absorb their flavor and nutrients, maybe a little garlic too". If she's anything like us, then she'll come around to loving garlic :)

make your own chicken broth too.. caned broth may be to salty.... just boil a couple of thighes.. thay make the best broth becasue of the fats in them.. also add the veggies.. adn mash them after your done and add them to help thicken too. i don't use corn strach because ..well ts made with corn and maxs is allergic..(gets major hives from anything remotly corn).. also i freeze some in ice cube trays and make dog cycles fro max to eat outside.. he loves them...also leave the chucnks of chicken in it too...

I made something similar to what you're looking for I think.

First thing I did was take some chicken quarters and took the meat off the bone. Then I added an egg or two, some carrots, and olive oil. All of this went into the blender with a little bit of water and was blended until I got the consistency I wanted.

I add it to my dogs food in the morning and evening and he seems to love it.
