I am having a hard time finding a good food for my boxer who has been diagnosed with IBD (inflamatory bowel disease) he also has pretty bad allergies and is pretty itchy. To top it all off he is prone to pancreatitis and the vet said to try and find a food with less then 10% fat content since I do not want to keep him on the perscription hills I/D food, he isnt gaining any weight on it and I feel like he is always hungry on the perscription food! If anyone has some suggestions please feel free to share! I have had him on Nutro Natural choice limited ingredient venison & rice formula and Natures Recipe salmon, sweet potato & pumpkin formula but havent loved either of them and am not seeing any positive changes in him with either of the brands.
