Another stupid question

I get the "are you sure thats a boxer " with both of my boxers. They are both white. I can understand how people can think that my male Zeus can be an AB because he is large for the boxer breed but he is 100% boxer. I don't get it when people think that Isis is an AB.
I hate when people ask what type of breed my dogs our and I tell them and they question me if I am sure they are boxers. The other day we where at a local car show and we took the fur and skin kids with us. One guy stopped us and swore up and down that our Zeus was an AB and he knew the exact breeder where we got him from. That was very annoying. I just wish people would just simple say something nice or ask their question and leave it at that when we answer them. I hate when someone thinks they know more about my dogs than me.

Hey be glad you weren't asked if yours was a dalmatian/golden retriver mix....I REALLY did have someone ask me that...now he's a white boxer and doesn't look anything like EITHER of those two dogs. That one was good for a laugh. The look on my face was probably priceless, jaw hanging open.

People ask me all the time what kind of dog Bailey is, but I've never had anyone debate it with me...Yet. I've never understood why Boxers get confused with Pit Bulls. They don't look anything alike to me. ::shrug::

My favorite still is when one of my employees told me that since Sherlock's ears are not "pointy" I can't call him a Boxer.
