Figured there is only one way to get in, and that was with both feet :D They are pretty fun puppies and I'm glad we decided to get two...they seem like they needed eachother in a big way.

My boyfriend and I have the same problem, it seems as though we're tired way before our boxer gets tired. My boyfriend is in the military as well and works anywhere from 12 to 16 hour shifts, by the time he gets home he's sacked out. Good thing I have time in between and after college to try (and I mean try) to wear Ace out. Luckily there are dozens of dogs in this neighborhood to help me wear him out. I would like to get a new boxer, but I think we will wait until we have a bigger home.

Ace tends to chase the balls, but not bring them back.....he only does this outside though. Inside he fetchs the ball and brings it to me, but once he's outdoors the whole fetch and bring the ball back is just thrown out. It just doesn't seem to work at all.

Does Ace get along good with dogs of the same sex? The only other female that Sasha gets along with is my mom and dads (actually she is technically mine) sheltie named Nikki. Other than that, she doesn't want anything to do with other females. Scrappy doesn't like other males unless they are submissive to him.

Actually, it's funny you ask that. We tried to introduce a male boxer to him, but the male was clearly trying to show that he was dominant, starting growling, meanwhile Ace was laying on his back like, hey can't we all just be friends. He was trying to lick him and stuff, but the other male wasn't having it.

Ace is super friendly, he doesn't doesn't snap at any dogs, he just tries to lick them, it's just that not all dogs like him.

What a cutie! Doesn't sound like he could have a mean bone in his body to other dogs. You thinking about getting him a female friend to play with?

Yes I am because I've been doing some researching and from what I've found raising two boxers from the same sex takes one stubborn person, and well, I don't know if I can be t hat stubborn. I'm going to get Ace fixed first, then decide on another one. Definitely a female though, that way I can raise a boxer from both spectrums.
