My Dixie has had lots of lumps and bumps.....(she has several more now). Most turn out to be nothing more than types of cyst.
I know how scared you are.....I have been there many times....but try to stay positive.
I worked for a Vet for a long time and we removed suspicious lumps and bumps from pets...many times... that had all the characteristics of cancer and they still turned out to be benign. But better safe than sorry. So hang in there....hopefully it will turn out to be nothing.
Keep us posted!!

I havnt been on here since before christmas. I took Tango to the vet today for a strange looking bump on his back flank. He goes in Friday morning for the removal process then it will be sent off to see what it might be. As he is white i was very concerned about it. Im so very glad I came to read this, Ive been crying on and off all evening. Worrying i suppose but I came on here and read this thread and I feel much better about the procedure now. Thanks for the hope you guys just gave me.

I will say a prayer for Magic along with one for my baby as well..:)

update on ear

Had to give Magic a bath last night, she was with matt all day, rolling in god know what  and hear warty-gross ear lump, was scabbed over, so i carefully washed around it, and dried her off, and the scabb came off, (lump still there and reddish-pink-warty looking) About and hour later, the gross black yucky scab came back, but her lump wasnt bleeding.

So i put a bandade on it with neosporin, and took it off this morning and it is still scabby and gross looking. But not as bad as last night. Still nervous about magic going to the vet, but at least i wont have to worry about a yucky scab anymore.
