Another irresponsible pet owner -

Was at Petco with Thumper today when a woman ran up and commented on how much our furbaby resembled her one year old female. She then told me that her boxer was still not housetrained, and that she was concerned because she still had had not been impregnated by her three year old male boxer :eek: !!!! Of course I gave her the riot act, but she left insisting that her vet gave his approval. Just had to vent - Cathy

I've heard similar stories before.

I am amazed that so many vets out there actually recommend and encourage people to breed their dogs when there are so many homeless dogs in need of love and kindness.

Vets and I disagree on so many issues. Grrrrrr.

Especially since her pup is only 1 year old, too young to be a mama. Some people, you just want to choke them.

I have on 3 occasions been out in public with my little lady Dazey when some person decided to give me the riot act.

All had to do with her ears being cropped. THe first 2 they were still taped, and I had some woman come up to me and tell me she wished she could cut 1/2 my ears off to see how I liked it. Then proceeded to call me a wide variety of nasty names. I was shocked someone would act that way in public.


I am in no way saying your reason for going off on the person was not justified.

Yikes. I can't believe that someone would say anything like that. I'm out spoken but OMG. Was she even a dog owner? Good Lord, I hope not. As for the woman breeding, that is sad. I agree with what Dan said, there are so many homeless and she is just making it worse.

OH, I get so #$##@%% mad when I here people breeding the dogs. I have learned to hold my tongue and ask one simple question. What do you think your dogs have to better the breed standards. That usualy will shut them up
