Another Boxer Lover

Hello all, I am relatively new to this site. But I love looking at the pictures and reading about other people who own boxers. I have never been around dogs much, I am very allergic to most animals. When I wanted to get a pet, I stumbled onto a boxer at a pet store. She licked me into submission and I promptly took her home with me. Kaitlin is now a very important part of my life, she is a fawn boxer with nearly perfect markings. As soon as I can get a picture uploaded here I will add it. She drives me insane with her antics but always brings a smile to my face even when she is holding one of my leather shoes from her mouth. I live in Alabama and would love to get together with other boxer lovers and let my little girl play her heart out.

Hi Carolyn,

Welcome and congratulations on your little girl 'Kaitlin'. How old is she?

My girl is 9 1/2 months now and every bit as beautiful as the day I brought her home.

She is fawn and white as well. She's got 4 white feet, a white chest and a little white triangle under her chin.

You can find so much information and stuff on this site. I love it. You should find plenty of new buddies here as well, and hopefully a buddy for Kaitlin too.

I must warn you though this site is so addictive.

Thanks Donna.......Kaitlin is almost 2 years old and still acts like she is 3 months old. She has just the tips of her paws white, a nice spread of white on her chest and a little pale white line on her nose. <--- I love that the best. She sits with her tongue hanging out and I think has moved her canine tooth out on that side as well. (the vet said it was ok, not hurting her) she looks goofy most of the time with her tongue hanging out.....I couldnt bring myself to clip her ears, but her tail is docked, apparently very short as well.

Hello and welcome... My Tina is 5 years old and still acting like a pup LOL Will it be a surprise for you that boxers act like pups even at the age of 10? They first lick you and pretend they are good and quiet to make you take them home, and once you did their behavior gets crazy
