Annoying Neighbor!!!!

When we do the rescue booth outside a local pet store, we get lots of people who stop and say things like
"Boxers, they always look so ugly they're cute"
"What an ugly dog, at least he's friendly"
"Ewww.....dont get too close, they'll drool on you"

Oh well.....not everyone likes the looks of those cute smoosh faces. Personally, I dont like the looks of the small lap dogs....no offense to anyone but they just dont "light" me up, but then again, I would never be so rude as to tell the owners that I think their dogs are ugly. I usually wait till they go inside! not sure which is worse though!

Anyhow, I truly believe that the world is slowly losing it's "politeness" :( sad, it is always much harder (therefore better for brain functioning) to think up a polite response rather than saying what you really think.

I think that it would hurt as much as if somebody said that one of my skinkids were ugly, but people don´t do that do they !!! Well the same goes for boxers.

Don't worry about Haylee! All she knows is her mommy rescued her from a bad situation and loves her to pieces. As for the neighbor, I would let the air out of his tires. kidding, of course

My new response, I've decided, in moments like these will be to put on an innocently shocked look and say "oh my! that was rude!" in my nicest voice (as if I am completely "surprised") and turn and walk away...leave them standing there feeling stupid with their mouth hanging open for a change!

Don't worry about what your neighbor said, it's apparent he's an A$$! I know all to well about annoying or just down right RUDE freaking neighbors.
My advice is just to ignore him because he aint worth it.

LOL-some people are so insecure about themselves they have to make a derogatory comment about things they feel threatened by......they know the dogs are better looking than themselves so they try to find fault. LOL
