He had a few yesterday afer we brought him home from the his surgery. They don't seem to last long if we comfort him and give him lots of love and attentiuon. Mostly start when we arent babying him. Our vet said this is normal in boxers when they are in stressful situations. Tomorrow is Monday and of course we will have to go to work. He will be left in his crate with the e-collar on. Just wondering if anyone has had any experience with these head tremors after surgery. I read a few forums about this happening out of the blue to some dogs and it being linked to tumors sometimes. Just wondering if these are two different situations. Should one of us stay ome tomorrow to comfort him? We REALLy can't afford to miss any work, especially after the cost of this surgery. Any suggestions?

Thanks

Oh boy, sorry to hear that. :( I don't have experience with head tremors beyond what I've read on the board. Personally never heard of it being linked to stressful situations but who knows. Hopefully someone else here will have some better insight for you.

Hope Andy gets to feeling better soon.

Thor has had head tremors but it was related to his hypothyroidism. I've never heard of them from stress. Before surgery did they do a complete blood workup? One that would have his t4 on it? It isn't the same as have having the complete thyroid panel done but it could show if there is a possibilty of low thyroid production.Sending lots of positive healing ((vibes)) to Andy!
