Anbody else have a full house?

I have a question... does anyone else have a full house with lots of excitement constantly? I have 3 skinkids ages 8,5, and 2 a big baby of a husband (just kidding dear) and 2 furbabies 2 year old Diamonds who is a shepard collie X and our newest Lennox who is 3 months tomorrow, my big baby fawn male.
I have kids running around saying Lennox is trying to eat them, Diamonds who is just finally coming around to liking the other dog and constantly voicing her opinion and a husband who just sits there and says "Hey you wanted another dog"
Good thing I live in a house or I think my neighbors would hate me. All day kids are in and out and Lennox just wants to play arggggg its just like having a baby again teehee....but I wouldnt change a thing! I was just wondering if anyone else had the same thing as me. Both me and my husband work full time....albeit opposite shifts so its working great for the kids & the dogs are home with either me or hubby around.

Full House

I know exactly what you mean. We have 3 boxers, my daughter recently moved back home with our grandkids, twin boys age 5, girl age 7, her boxer and lab mix. We are in the middle of finishing an addition so presently we only have 1 bathroom, & 3 bedrooms. All the kids are in one room, daughter in small room and us in our room. When we get done, hubby and I will be moving to other side to a masterbedroom suite and bath, there'll be a powder room and huge family room and we're doubling the kitchen from 10 feet long to 20. Eventually there'll be plenty of room, but I know what you mean about chaos. To make matters worse, her female boxer attacked my female and split her head open to the bone the first week she was there. My poor Maggie had 5 staples in her head (she looke like FrankenMaggie) So now we have to alternate dogs in and out of the bedrooms as we don't trust here dog with any of ours. She's really a beautiful sweet lovable white boxer, but coming into the situation where there were already 3 other dogs was too much for her so rather be safe than sorry, we just alternate.

I wouldn't change anything either. Life would be too boring!

Can I get an Amen? OI VAY! Im in the same shoes as you. The three skinkids are running around yelling and jumping through the house...naturally Shotze is right at their heels barking her little head off...and I have just taken three advils to try to knock this headache I have. Last night, the hubby (who isnt use to all the noise) decided to go to bed early!!! Can you believe him?!?!?! And then had the nerve to ask me if I was coming! Ummm, yeah sure, let me just tell the kids to bathe themselves and fold the clothes in the dryer. I really wish I could just, like, get a "wild hair" and go to bed when I wanted to. Must be nice. I SO love the time after the kids go to sleep and I have like a whole 5 minutes of silence before the hubby starts snoring. I mean, I cant even go to the friggin bathroom without one of them needing something. If it isnt the skinkids or the hubby, its Shotze standing at the gate barking her head off. Is there a button on my butt that goes off when I sit down on the toilet? Its been raining here on the gulf coast everyday, so the kids are cooped up inside along with Shotze and that makes for a migraine for me. I think the one thing that bothers me about the WHOLE mess is...I never get a "thank you Mom" "Thank you honey" "sit down and take a break honey"...nothing.
Ok , sorry, had to vent and this seemed like the perfect place. Yes, you are not the only one with a "crazy house". lmao Mine borders on insane!

We have an exciting household too. We have:

* 10 month old son
* 2 year old daughter
* 9 year old son

* Bengal cat (My big, spoiled, fat cat!)
* Harley (7 month old fawn boxer-female)
* Chloe (3 month old white boxer-female)



I also homeschool our oldest son so I stay mega-busy all the time. That takes about 7 hours of my day (185 days of the year). Of course, that means all the kids are here 24/7 with me. Between the kids and the dogs, my house is never completely quiet. Well, maybe 1:00AM or so, but then they are all snoring!

I wouldn't trade it for anything in the world. The sound of happy children playing, the pups rolling and running.......... I don't think life gets any better than this.

Yep, same thing here, I have 1 boxer, 1 cocker, 1 chihuahua, 3 cats, 4 kittens, 1 4 year old, hubby, sister, and me, plus all the kids on the block who come over to play with my son and the dogs. Needless to say, it is never quiet, it is never clean, and we never have enough food to feed everybody! Somebody is always asking for food, and when it rains, it just brings all the rucus inside.

Shotze's mom you are right, I can't even go to the bathrom without a kid knocking on the door, or the cat sticking his paw under the door, or the dog sniffing in, we should probably wear diapers!!

I hear all of you loud and clear! we've got a busy house too, and I wouldn't have it any other way! So far we have:

~3 year old daughter Olivia (handful)
~6 month old boxer dog "Cassius" (inside)
~2 year old German shorthair "Lui" (outside)
~5 year old German shorthair "Lio" (outside)
~6 year old appaloosa mare "Hoku" (B*#!%) Like major PMS
~15 year old palomino gelding "Buddy" (sweetie)
~1 year old orpahned from birth donkey "Kona" Literally an ASS

So those are the mouths I feed everyday!

A full house? How about a funny farm?

Samson - 21 month old boxer, gone wild (but still my baby boy)
Delilah - 18 month old boxer, petite and a jackrabbit
Tyra - 18 month old boxer, Samson's friend in boxer bashing, rescued
Lady - 2 1/2 yr old boston terrier just given to us since we "live on a farm"
Bird - not named, cockatiel, just given to us because we would "be good to it"
2 outside farm dogs, lab/boxer mix and austrailian shepard mix
3 horses
4 grown farm cats, 6 kittens
2 roosters and 27 chickens

Did I remember everyone? Oh, and an out of our mind husband and wife.

You know, we just took on the boston terrier and bird. The bird is NO trouble. I am enjoying her. She came with a huge cage. I like her. The boston terrier, well, it's a challenge. She loves the outdoors, but she is about 1/2 an inside dog, and a people/lap dog. All of the females are very jealous of her. We took her home because we were told that she needed to live with us, and that we would be good to her, , but it's sure a lot of work for us! Why do we do this? I do love animals, but it HAS to stop somewhere!

Lets see......4 skin kids (10,9,6, and 4 years), a 13 month old boxer boy, an 8 month old boxer girl, a 7 month old boxer boy, a 15 week old male kitten, and (as of last Friday) a female kitten that is approximately 6 weeks old, not to mention a very spoiled husband. Oh yeah I also have a home daycare Mon.-Fri., 6a-6p that is cuurently full to capacity (7 children). So yeah I would say that I have a somewhat full house. LOL

Full House

We also have a full house. We have a 10 year old female Chow, a 7 1/2 month old female boxer, a 13 year old cat and a 12 year old cat both females, actually mother and daughter and they hate each other. We also have 4 hermit crabs, and a 55 gallon fish tank with sharks some as big as 2 ft already. I run a daycare in my home, also, like Tannerstheman, and that includes 4 babies all 1 year old or younger plus 3 4-5 year olds. Not to mention my biggest baby, my husband, and then there is me and that is about how it falls in place, me last , but like everyone else I would never change a think I feel that I have been blessed. fiesta1ico
