Animals DO feel emotion!!!

Animals do feel emotion!! Their emotions may not be as extreme as the one's we feel, but they do feel. How can you explain a fight between two animals if they do not feel? How can you explain an animal who is whimpering or crying? Watch your dog for one hour and you will see a myriad of emotions. The Lord made animals to be apart of our journey. He gave us the dog inparticular to befriend us and in many cases protect us. A dog is not a zombie on four legs that just eats, sleeps, and plays. If you allow and encourage your dog to have his own personality with out allowing him to be destructive, you will his emotions loud and clear. Often times when you have an owner that thinks of his dog as nothing more than something that roams the back yard, the dog is not challeged enough to grow emotionally and the owner does not attempt to bond with the animal. Sadly enough those are the dogs that are zombies or eventually become aggressive. Just my opinion.... Next time my babies get upset, I will remember to tell them they have no emotion-

"I NEVER said animals do not feel. I work for an orginization that investigates puppy mills and pet stores, I see emotionally damaged animals all day every day. Do not attack me in a public forum just because you do not understand a post. I said that animals, dogs as it were, do not get mad at us, as in holding a grudge as the original poster thought her dog had done. If you think dogs do hold grudges and "get back at thier owner" then you need to talk with an animal behaviorist."

Let's see here Rogle... I believe you did make this comment and it clearly states that you believe dogs have not feelings.

"No matter how much we'd like our dogs to be human, or just behave human, or just have human emotions they do not. Dog's don't get mad at us, they don't feel guilt or try to make us feel guilt."

I just hope you don't treat your dogs like you treat others. Just because someone puts smiley faces on their forum post's....

You took my smiley faces the wrong way. You also took a private E-mail, which I wrote and sent to you, and pasted it onto this public forum without even asking for my permission. I e-mailed it to you so as not to seem to be attacking you in a public forum.

No matter how much we'd like our dogs to be human, or just behave human, or just have human emotions they do not. Dog's don't get mad at us, they don't feel guilt..............

Now where in the above do you see that I say dogs don't feel. What I DO say and DO stand behind is that dogs aren't human and they do not have human emotions. Dogs DO NOT get mad at us when we crate them or when we reprimand them. When they chew something in our homes they do not feel "Bad" about it, they feel no guilt about it. Please stop reading things into my post, you are putting words into my post's that are not there. And PLEASE do not post my private words in a public forum without asking first. If this is not against the rules here it is still ethicily wrong.
