Help ...
I just want to do the right thing by my lil pepsi ,
I dont know how much i should be feeding her at the moment , she is nearly 4 months old and i only got her a week ago ....i am feeding her on Pedigree dry mix complete ...twice a day....
is this enough ? she doesnt eat it all or maybe she just doesnt like it ....
i need advice on this one ....

First of all Pedigree is not a very good food for your baby and I am sure others will say so also. Look at the first ingredient of Pedigree, (ground yellow corn) that is the main thing in there. No meat. Also look for by-products and preservatives. By-products are things such as beaks, feathers, and feet in their food. Perservatives are usually cancer causing agents. Please consider another food. There are many different human grade foods out there, a few being, Wellness, Solid Gold, Royal Canin, Canidae, you can do a search on premium human grade foods or do a search for World Dog Journal and it will name the top foods for dogs.

To answer your question most bags of food will tell you how much to feed, remember this is just a approximate amount, a suggested guideline. A better grade food may be more expensive but you feed a lot less which will balance out and not be anymore in the long run. Puppies should be fed three times a day, not free feeding. I have fed my baby Wellness Super 5 Mix since she was a puppy. She is 15 months old now and it calls for 2-2 1/2 cups per day.

I agree with Shakira's Mom :) I looked at the Pedigree site and the first thing I noticed is that they use both Wheat and Corn. These two items are well known as being allergens for Boxers. Beet Pulp is another one to watch out for. They're just fillers anyway and have no nutritional value for your dog.
It is a great idea to search these forums about the foods mentioned above. I feed Wellness Chicken and it is more expensive, but it all equals out in the long run because these foods have great ingredients and less needs to be fed at each meal. It can be a bit daunting in finding the right food, but it's well worth it :)

I concur with everyone else. I would switch her off of the Pedigree for sure. Here is a link to a great page Gwyneth put together which discusses kibble. Specifically, how to choose a great kibble and which ingredients to avoid.

Happy researching :)
