Same with my two, Max is worse than Harlie though, with things outside, he always comes in with something in his mouth, leaves, grass, a stick, a rock, inside he is horrible too anything that falls on the floor is gone before you have a chance to get it, string, paper, pictures, once when I gave him and Harlie their heartworm pills, Max gobbles his up, and Harlie plays with hers for a minute then eats it, well of course she dropped it, and before I could even see where it fell it was gone! I thought he was gonna be so sick from eating two, but the vet said he would be fine thankfully! You would think he would get sick of eating yucky things....Harlie is horrible with plastic toys, she always has to destroy them, and if we dont notice her doing it right away, she will eat all the chunks of tastless plastic! Then three or four days later she will barf them up for me to clean! What handfulls! But they're cute! smashicon

I must say...Tango can sniff out anything but when he goes for walks etc.. it is very rare for him to find stuff to chew on although he does do it!!... he is more interested in showing other dogs who is boss .. although i have to admit a few days ago there he was up on the couch and i could hear him scratching at the cushions.. when i went to see what he was doing there the little devil had pushed one cushion right off and was digging out a sweet my daughter had dropped between the cushions!!! When i said to him what are you doing he looked at me and seemed to say ..WHAT A GOOD BOY AM I... he really makes me laughs with his expressions.. xxx Dawn:p

Thank eats everything as well, well at least he tries everything. It doesnt help that he has great sense of smell either. A few months ago I noticed him digging a hole in the back yard so I went to check aand see what he was doing, and had found a pack of nasty moldy(who knows how old they were) hotdogs still in the sealed plastic buried like a foot or more under the ground. I'm glad I caught him before he tried to eat em. yuk

Seems to be a pretty common thing! Bodie cannot go into the backyard without someone being with him. He tries to eat everything including his own poo! We call it "Bodie Breathmints" or Sun Dried Turds because he will only eat stuff that has been there awhile. My sons job is to clean the backyard everyday and it's amazing that he can still always find something to put into his mouth. However, if I tell him to stay he will let me come take it away from him, so that's good!

Yes, Delilah will eat anything! Samson sniffs around for stuff a lot but he doesn't eat that many things. I think he doesn't because his big lips and jowls do not allow him to hold things in his mouth. For example, you give him a treat and all of it, or part of it, ends up on the floor. Normally Delilah gets it before he picks it back up.

Back to Delilah...we live in the country. She loves frogs, turtles, bugs, different grasses, you name it. I try to keep her out of things because she had a very bad reaction (lots of hives) when she got into ants one time. She chases every bug or fly that she sees in the house. You know how it is, the leap in the air thing, looking like she is trying to catch thin air, when she is after a bug.

Snail house? I am not sure what I would call it here, ha! Interesting...a snail shell? Who knows!

Jray...your Oskar is one gorgeous boy!!!!!!

My 9.5 year old 'puppy' Layla still does this. She can find a tiny morsel of something disgusting anywhere  I always have to keep a close eye on her because if it does not go into her mouth she will roll in it :p

'Drop it' and 'Give' are two commands she hears frequently
