Alternative to Rawhide?

If your dog is a big chewer, Bad Cuz (or any Cuz!) will not be a good choice. I've seen several threads on here about Boxers who have swallowed Cuz feet. Bad Cuz is not as durable as a kong and is not meant for chewing. It's more of a fun squeak/fetch toy.

You can cut the feet off the Cuz yourself to avoid this.

My problem with Bubba is that he doesn't chew on something unless it has flavor. The Kong and hollow bones are tossed aside after he licks the peanut butter out of them. He LOVES the huge knuckle bones with hunks of meat on them, so we go with that (in the crate on a towel at first, as they get pretty gross.)

Nylabones aren't supposed to be indestructable. They say that once your dog has chewed the ends off, to throw it out.

There are two kinds of Nylabone. There is the rubber/ plastic kind and they also make a hard bone made of wheat that is editable. Luka prefers the wheat ones. He chews alot (teething) and goes thru 1 a week.
He prefers Ham and Cheese
I talk alot about these bones here because they are really great- I can deter Luka from chewing almost anything w/ them. They are sold at Petco and Petsmart and are a bit more pricey there. I usually get them from Dr Fosters and Smith where they are cheaper- even with the shipping.

I get Luka the Wolf size, but larger dogs might need a bigger bone! :D
