so our Coda has has problems with gas, diarrhea, and pancreatitis her whole life. Our vet has suggested we keep her on their Hills Prescription I/D food.
I'm not fond of this brand of food and would like to hear of any other options I may have.

She's been on Canidae, Natures Variety and now recently Wellness white fish and potato.
I'm not even sure the food is her problem. I think she gets into rabbit droppings and I feel this may be the issue. But I need to figure something out instead of having to worry about her getting pancreatitis constantly and end up diabetic or worse.

You should look into the Natural Balance limited ingredient diets. They are lower in protein and usually easier on the gut. We suspect my dog to have IBD and the vet suggested I/d, but he got sick every day eating that. The only info on fat content of the I/d I could find on the internet said 14%. I would expect with your dog being prone to pancreatitis you would need a low fat diet. Most of the Natural Balance LID formulas have a fat content of 10% so it is even lower than the I/d.

I've had great luck with the Natural Balance limited ingredient diets as well as Taste of the Wild's Pacific Stream with similar issues.

Good luck!
